Job summary

Capgemini in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned functional/automation tester to own and govern testing across Cards initiatives, ensuring quality for new platform implementations, product launches, and Visa certification.

You will define test strategy for Cards programs, coordinate with banks, product teams and vendors, manage defect triage, and track readiness for go‑live. The role requires 8+ years in testing within banking/payments, strong analysis, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in functional/automation testing, quality assurance, or test management.
• Proven experience in Cards systems implementations, card product launches, and payment platform migrations.
• Hands-on experience across SIT, UAT, and scheme certification testing (Visa/Mastercard).
• Strong understanding of Visa certification requirements, card issuing and acquiring processes, and payment transaction flows.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern functional testing across Cards initiatives, ensuring quality for new platform implementations and product launches.
• Define and own test strategy, scope, and approach for Cards programs.
• Coordinate with bank, product teams, and vendors on test planning and execution.
• Manage defect triage, prioritisation, and reporting.
• Track testing progress, risks, and readiness for platform go-live and product launches.
