Job summary

iRhythm Technologies, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Certified Cardiac Technician to review ECG data and communicate abnormalities to physicians.

You will ensure 100% quality before final reports, maintain proficiency, and continuously grow in ECG interpretation while meeting productivity targets. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 2+ years in cardiac telemetry/ECG interpretation, and eligibility for CCT certification within 120 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; an Associate’s degree or two years college coursework preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience as a cardiac telemetry/monitor technician, Holter scanner or other requiring ECG interpretation.
• Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or eligible to be certified within 120 days of hire; RN or Paramedic may qualify.
• Intermediate PC proficiency and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review patient ECG data and algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness using Quality Analysis tools.
• Communicate ECG abnormalities to physicians per notification protocol.
• Perform 100% quality assurance before final reports to physicians; modify report formats as requested.
• Maintain compliance with proficiency requirements and certifications.
• Continuously develop clinical knowledge, especially ECG rhythm interpretation.
• Meet or exceed productivity and quality metrics for the role.
• Adhere to HIPAA and Good Clinical Practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

About This Role

Specific job responsibilities include:

• Review patient’s ECG data and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness, utilizing iRhythm’s Quality Analysis tools for 100% of all records
• Effectively communicate ECG abnormalities by notifying physicians as required according to physician notification protocol
• Perform 100% of the quality assurance before the final report is delivered to the physician and provide report format modifications and additions as requested
• Maintain compliance with job specific proficiency requirements, including CCT certification (RN or Paramedic may qualify)
• Continuously develop clinical knowledge, particularly ECG rhythm interpretation skills
• Meet or exceed the productivity and quality metrics as defined for the role
• Adherence to HIPAA Guidelines and Good Clinical Practices
• Other duties as assigned

About You

An experienced Certified Cardiac Technician with the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; an Associate’s degree or two years college course work preferred
• 2+ years’ experience as a cardiac telemetry/monitor technician, Holter scanner or other requiring ECG interpretation
• Demonstrated capability in rhythm analysis and interpretation
• You’re a Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or able to be certified within 120 days of hire; other related certifications or licenses may qualify (i.e. RN or Paramedic)
• Intermediate level PC proficiency
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude and team player
• Ability to use critical thinking skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Knowledge of medical terminology specific to Cardiology
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Great work ethic and a desire to provide high quality outcomes (reports) to our clients and patients

Preferred Qualifications

• An Associate degree or two years of college course work
• Experience as a telemetry/monitor technician, Holter scanner or other specialty requiring ECG interpretation
