Job Objectives – Warranty Processor
- Administer all agreed warranty claims, ensuring that all necessary documentation and parts for return are processed in line with vehicle warranty procedures while maintaining customer satisfaction at all times.
- Establish and employ standard operating procedures for preparing, keeping records, and submitting warranty claims to Nissan Philippines Inc. and/or authorized suppliers, and reconcile them accordingly.
- Sustain a 100 percent approval rate achievement and credited payment settlement by Nissan Philippines Inc.
Administrative and System
- Act as the primary liaison between Nissan Philippines Inc. and Nissan Commonwealth, Inc. regarding customer warranty claims.
- Maintain knowledge of various warranty programs such as recalls, repairs, safety notices, and technical bulletins.
- Prepare and maintain all warranty documents according to distributor and manufacturer requirements.
- Serve as the primary resource for administering and applying customer warranties, including facilitating valid warranty claims and rejecting non‑valid or out‑of‑warranty claims.
- Monitor and coordinate with accounting and audit teams to ensure all claims are settled accordingly.
- Perform the duties of Aftersales Training Coordinator.
- Carry out other related duties as may be required by the immediate supervisor to achieve work and quality objectives.
Operative and Process
- Be knowledgeable in YANA (NCWs Dealer Management System), NIMS (Nissan Integrated Management System), and NML Box (NPIs official email).
- Manage all claim‑related details, including submission of required documentation, compliance with additional information requests, returning and disposing of used parts, inventory of used parts, and ensuring payment.
- Review and process warranty claims, procure replacement parts, and track service work.
- Prepare, record, and submit warranty claims to Nissan Philippines Inc. and/or authorized suppliers and reconcile them accordingly.
Detailed Job Description
- Be stationed in the front office during the first hour of operations to assist in the Service Reception Area in accommodating customers.
- Perform tests on automotive systems, analyze results, identify and document defects, and coordinate with NPI development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Assist customers from reception to the service workshop up to the delivery section.
- Conduct actual test drives with customers to establish and duplicate reported issues prior to vehicle RO creation.
- Handle VSD customers orientation before releasing newly sold vehicles.
- Create and conduct regular technical training for service technicians and monitor progress through evaluation examinations.
Job Objectives – Tool Keeper
- Ensure the systematic safekeeping, issuance, and monitoring of all workshop tools and equipment, maintaining accuracy, availability, and proper condition at all times.
- Support efficient workshop operations by upholding Nissan’s standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence through effective tool management and control.
Tool Management & Inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory of all tools, special service tools (SSTs), and workshop equipment.
- Issue and receive tools from technicians following proper procedures.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and audits to prevent loss or misplacement.
Maintenance & Calibration
- Ensure tools are clean, functional, and properly stored after each use.
- Arrange calibration, repair, or replacement of damaged or worn‑out tools in coordination with the Service Manager.
- Keep records of calibration schedules and certifications for special tools.
- Ensure compliance with Nissan’s prescribed tool maintenance standards.
Workshop Support & Compliance
- Coordinate with Nissan headquarters for new tool requisitions, special tool campaigns, or updates.
- Support workshop technicians by promptly providing required tools for repair jobs.
- Ensure tools meet Nissan’s safety, quality, and technical standards before use.
- Enforce workshop safety protocols related to tool handling and storage.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit regular reports on tool inventory, shortages, breakages, and usage trends.
- Document all tool transactions (issuance, return, repair, loss) in both manual and digital logs.
- Assist in audits conducted by Nissan auditors or dealer management regarding workshop tools.
