Job summary

SABPPTECH SERVICES INCORPORATED is seeking a Calibration Technician to perform calibration procedures on instruments and equipment, document results, and ensure compliance with standards. The role requires precision measurements, accurate record-keeping, and the ability to troubleshoot issues.

You will maintain calibration schedules, collaborate with technical staff, and communicate findings to management. A valid driver’s license and hands-on experience with calibration tools are preferred,

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a calibration technician or in a related technical role.
• With valid Driver's license
• Strong knowledge of calibration procedures, measurement standards, and quality assurance principles.
• Proficiency with calibration equipment, testing instruments, and measurement tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision measurements and tight tolerances.
• Solid understanding of relevant industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills with proficiency in technical reporting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Valid technical qualifications or certifications in calibration, metrology, or a related discipline (preferred)
• Physical capability to perform hands-on technical work and operate specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration procedures on various instruments and equipment using specialized testing equipment and industry-standard methodologies.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform corrective actions when calibration standards are not met.
• Collaborate with other technical staff to ensure seamless integration of calibration services within operations.
• Maintain and care for calibration equipment, tools, and laboratory facilities to ensure optimal working conditions.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.
