SABPPTECH SERVICES INCORPORATED in Davao City is seeking a Calibration Technician to perform and document calibration of instruments and equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. You will conduct precision measurements, troubleshoot issues, maintain calibration records, and collaborate with operations to integrate calibration services, with a valid driver’s license preferred.
Experience in metrology and knowledge of safety practices is a plus.
Perform calibration procedures on various instruments and equipment using specialized testing equipment and industry-standard methodologies
Conduct precision measurements and comparisons against established standards to verify equipment accuracy and performance
Document all calibration activities, including test results, adjustments made, and any deviations from acceptable tolerances
Maintain detailed calibration records and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
Identify equipment requiring calibration and develop calibration schedules to ensure timely maintenance
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform corrective actions when calibration standards are not met
Collaborate with other technical staff to ensure seamless integration of calibration services within operations
Maintain and care for calibration equipment, tools, and laboratory facilities to ensure optimal working conditions
Communicate findings and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders
Proven experience working as a calibration technician or in a related technical role
With valid Driver's license
Strong knowledge of calibration procedures, measurement standards, and quality assurance principles
Proficiency with calibration equipment, testing instruments, and measurement tools
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision measurements and tight tolerances
Solid understanding of relevant industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements
Strong documentation and record-keeping skills with proficiency in technical reporting
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Valid technical qualifications or certifications in calibration, metrology, or a related discipline (preferred)
Physical capability to perform hands-on technical work and operate specialized equipment
