Job summary

Super Matcha Philippines is seeking a Cafe Manager at SM Nuvali to lead beverage quality, staff supervision, and store standards. You will train baristas, oversee daily operations, and act as a brand ambassador, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities include coaching teams, scheduling, inventory control, and reporting. A Bachelor's in Hospitality or related field plus 2–3 years in café settings, with leadership experience, is preferred; weekends/holidays required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or related field preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of barista experience, with 1 year in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, equipment handling, and coffee/tea brewing methods.
• Proven ability to train staff in both technical skills and guest service/hospitality.

• Prepare and serve high-quality matcha beverages and other menu items according to Super Matcha standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning across all drinks.
• Lead training programs on service excellence, guest interaction, and hospitality practices.
• Mentor, coach, and supervise baristas to uphold operational efficiency and customer service standards.
• Oversee bar operations, including scheduling, workflow, and performance monitoring.
• Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies; coordinate with suppliers for replenishment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of bar counters, utensils, equipment, and work areas.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and mall/brand regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Support promotional activities, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
• Prepare daily beverage sales and wastage reports for submission to management.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Cafe Manager to join our team at Super Matcha Philippines. The Cafe Manager is responsible for:

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Awards or recognition from prior barista competitions are not required but considered a strong advantage
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
