Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our operations in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila. The successful candidate will check cleaning equipment, ensure stable wheat flow, and assist in maintenance during mill shutdowns.

Role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering and legal licensure; fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Knowledge of safety and food hygiene standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required or equivalent.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check daily condition of cleaning equipment that remove dust, stones and foreign material from raw wheat.
• Help maintain a stable and consistent flow rate of wheat through cleaning and tempering equipment.
• Take regular wheat samples for laboratory analysis.
• Keep the screenroom clean and cleaning equipment.
• Complete daily checklist task for machinery performance.
• Assist maintenance teams during minor equipment adjustments or scheduled mill shutdowns.
• Follow industrial safety rules, hygiene protocols and food safety standards.
