Job summary

Meralco Industrial Engineering Services Corporation in Metro Manila is seeking a CAD Operator to translate briefs into precise drawings. You will interpret instructions, draft blueprints, and incorporate feedback from engineers and architects while visiting sites to gather information.

The ideal candidate has engineering education, 1–2 years of experience, BIM familiarity, and proficient use of AutoCAD, SketchUp, REVIT, and MS Office. A WFH setup is provided on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Must be college graduate of any engineering course.
• 1–2 years of work experience in the field or similar area.
• Prefer BIM experience; proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, REVIT; proficient with Microsoft Office operations.

The CAD Operator's responsibilities include understanding written and verbal instructions, drafting technical drawings and blueprints, implementing feedback from engineers and architects, visiting sites, keeping up to date with CAD software, and working long hours to meet deadlines. You should be able to explain technical aspects clearly to both the team and the client.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interpreting project briefs and meeting with clients, engineers, and architects to ensure all blueprints and technical drawings are completed to specifications.

• Producing rough sketches and using CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints.

• Visiting sites to gather information and determine limitations and feasibility of designs.

• Updating software, drawings, and other documents.

A. Education/Knowledge

• Must be college graduate of any engineering course

B. Skills

• With knowledge in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and with basic knowledge in Primavera P6

C. Work Experience

• Requires a minimum of (1-2) years of work experience in the field or in a related area

• Preferably with BIM experience; Preferably proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, REVIT; Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office operations (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Employment Status: PROJECT HIRE - HEAD OFFICE BASED
Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays (8am to 5pm) - WFH setup every other week of Friday.
