About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Operator/Draftsman to join our design and architecture team at our office located in Mall of Asia, Pasay City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our architectural drafting operations. As CAD Operator/Draftsman, you will be responsible for translating architectural concepts and designs into precise technical drawings and computer-aided designs that serve as blueprints for construction and facility planning projects. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring that projects are executed to specification and that all documentation meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections and construction documents using CAD software

• Convert sketches, specifications and verbal instructions from architects and engineers into accurate technical drawings

• Maintain and update drawing files, ensuring all documents are properly organised, labelled and archived

• Incorporate design changes and revisions promptly, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all project documentation

• Verify drawing accuracy and completeness before submission to clients and regulatory authorities

• Collaborate with architects, engineers and project managers to clarify design requirements and resolve drawing-related issues

• Ensure compliance with architectural standards, building codes and company drafting protocols

• Prepare drawing packages for tender submissions and construction bidding processes

• Support the development of standardised drawing templates and drafting procedures

• Maintain proficiency with current CAD software and stay updated on industry best practices
