Job summary

HireMe.ph is seeking an experienced mold design engineer in the Philippines. You will perform 3D modeling and produce detailed assembly drawings for plastic injection molds, while efficiently managing ECOs to adapt designs to changing requirements.

You will lead initial mold concepts, including gate placement, cooling, and ejection mechanisms, with a strong focus on process improvements to reduce cycle times and costs.

Qualifications

• 3D modeling and detailed assembly drawings for plastic injection molds.
• Efficient handling of Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to meet project requirements.
• Ability to propose design improvements to optimize cycle times and reduce costs.
• Lead initial mold concepts including gate placement, cooling, and ejection for new projects.
• Experience in mold maker environments; ownership of own vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and detailed assembly drawings for plastic injection molds.
• Manage ECOs to ensure changes meet evolving project requirements.
• Identify design improvements to shorten cycle times and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Lead mold concept work, including gate placement, cooling systems, and ejection methods.

Job description

1. 3D Modeling: Expert ability to create complex 3D models and detailed assembly drawings for plastic injection molds.
2. Design Revisions: Proven track record in managing Engineering Change Orders (ECO) efficiently to meet evolving project requirements.
3. Process Improvement: Strong analytical skills to propose design improvements that optimize cycle times and reduce manufacturing costs.
4. New Tooling Concepts: Capable of leading initial mold conceptualization, including gate placement, cooling systems, and ejection mechanisms for new mold projects.

Priority points that interviewers look at
1. Experience of working with the NX CAD System
2. Experience in making drawings (only in the mold field)
3. Has own car or motorbike (For overtime work when they have any trouble)
4. No experience working at a company with a union organization

Preferable Requirements
1. Experience working in a mold maker company

Education: College Graduate in any Engineering course
