Job summary

Big J Steel Construction Corp. in Quezon City is seeking a CAD Operator to prepare, modify, and maintain technical drawings using AutoCAD and related software.

The role supports engineers and project teams by producing accurate constructions drawings based on specifications, site measurements, and design requirements. The candidate will handle revisions, coordination with other disciplines, and document control on site.

Qualifications

• Prepare 2D and/or 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD or other CAD software.
• Create and revise shop drawings, as-built drawings, layouts, details, and construction drawings.
• Interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other technical plans.
• Incorporate revisions and comments from engineers, architects, and project managers.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and approved designs.
• Coordinate drawings with other disciplines to identify and resolve conflicts or discrepancies.
• Maintain proper drawing file naming, revision control, and documentation.
• Prepare drawings for submission, approval, construction, and project documentation.
• Assist engineers and project personnel with measurements, drafting, and technical documentation.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to verify actual site conditions and measurements.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on actual completed works.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of all assigned drawings.
• Perform other drafting and technical tasks as assigned.
