Biosite Medical Instruments, Inc. is looking for a dynamic, results-driven, and clinically oriented Business Unit Head to lead and manage its assigned healthcare portfolio covering Cardiology, General Surgery, Neurosciences, and Medical Devices.
The role is responsible for overseeing portfolio performance, strengthening hospital and healthcare professional engagement, supporting product utilization, and leading field teams involved in healthcare-related operations.
This position is highly suitable for a candidate with strong experience in medical devices, hospital-based healthcare solutions, allied healthcare operations, product management, or healthcare sales leadership.
Applicants must have relevant experience or strong exposure in Cardiology, General Surgery, Neurosciences, Operating Room, Critical Care, Medical Equipment, or other healthcare-related fields.
Lead and oversee the assigned allied healthcare and medical devices portfolio
Drive portfolio growth, account development, and achievement of business objectives
Guide the team in achieving portfolio targets and healthcare account goals
Manage product portfolio coordination, pricing alignment, forecasting, and inventory planning
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with hospitals, surgeons, specialists, allied healthcare professionals, and key healthcare institutions
Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to sales, product, and clinical support teams
Support product presentations, hospital engagements, evaluations, and healthcare institution requirements
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely product support, service coordination, and customer assistance
Monitor healthcare account performance, product utilization, and field implementation activities
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Biology, Life Sciences, Allied Health, Business, or any related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in medical devices, healthcare, diagnostics, medical equipment, hospital-based healthcare solutions, or allied healthcare operations
Must have experience or strong exposure in Cardiology, General Surgery, Neurosciences, Operating Room, Critical Care, Medical Equipment, or other healthcare-related fields
Background in healthcare sales leadership, product management, clinical support, field healthcare operations, or hospital account management is highly preferred
Strong leadership, communication, presentation, coordination, and decision-making skills
Able to work effectively with healthcare professionals, hospitals, surgeons, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams
Results-driven, organized, and highly familiar with healthcare institution requirements
