The role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial to drive profitability and efficiency across a manufacturing plant. The position requires 15+ years in finance with strong cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive finance experience in controllership, plant, or manufacturing finance.
• Strong cost accounting, production finance, inventory management, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Proven track record in partnering with Operations and senior leaders.
• CPA or equivalent qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end financial controllership, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and controls.
• Oversee plant finance, including costing, production costs, inventory, productivity, and variance analysis.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial to drive cost optimization and business performance.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic and operational decision-making.
• Identify financial and operational risks and lead corrective actions.
• Present business performance, financial risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Finance team to deliver business results.

The Business Unit / Plant Finance Controller provides financial leadership and strategic business partnership to an assigned business unit or manufacturing plant. The role oversees controllership, plant finance, costing, production performance, inventory, variance analysis, and financial planning while driving profitability, productivity, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end financial controllership, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
• Oversee plant finance, including costing, production costs, inventory, productivity, and variance analysis.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, and other functions to drive cost optimization and business performance.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic and operational decision-making.
• Identify financial and operational risks and lead corrective actions.
• Present business performance, financial risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Finance team to deliver business results.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive Finance experience, with significant experience in Controllership, Plant Finance, Business Unit Finance, or Manufacturing Finance.
• Strong experience in cost accounting, production finance, inventory management, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Proven track record in business partnering with Operations and senior business leaders.
• Strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Demonstrated executive presence, strategic thinking, decision-making, stakeholder management, and people leadership capabilities.
• Experience leading Finance teams and driving measurable improvements in profitability, productivity, cost, and working capital.
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
