Job summary

SAN MIGUEL GLOBAL POWER HOLDINGS CORP. is seeking a capable SAP-enabled IT professional in the Philippines to troubleshoot software issues, manage incident tickets, and control user access.

You will collaborate with engineers and vendors to address bugs, perform root-cause analysis, and implement process improvements. The role requires SAP experience (ERP/S/4HANA/BW), SAP certification preferred, and exposure to SAP project lifecycles, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in IT or related field.
• Knowledge or experience in SAP is required or preferred.
• SAP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in SAP implementation, configuration, system support, troubleshooting, integration, reporting, or process improvement is a plus.
• Basic project management experience and participation in at least one full SAP project lifecycle is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve software bugs, error codes, and performance slowdowns.
• Incident Management: Track, triage, and solve support tickets while meeting SLAs.
• User Access: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security roles.
• Collaboration: Work with software engineers and vendors to report persistent bugs and test updates.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to find root causes of technical errors.
• Communication: Explain complex tech problems clearly to non-technical users.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with databases, system logs, ticketing tools, and monitoring software such as SharePoint; basic SharePoint and SQL knowledge; MS Office proficiency; awareness of SDLC; process improvement; multimedia and graphics skills; manual functional testing; wireframing.
