Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) in Manila is seeking a competent Business Systems Analyst to support application testing, validation, and backlog management. The role focuses on collaborating with development teams to bring new functionality to life and to document processes and user stories.

You will contribute to release planning, incident management, and creating BRDs and process maps, leveraging Confluence, JIRA, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Business Systems Analyst experience or the equivalent.
• Solid travel industry background.
• Hands-on experience with online booking tool.
• Demonstrated experience writing test cases and QA/UAT testing.
• Proficiency in creating business documentation (BRDs, user stories, process maps, etc).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Confluence and JIRA.
• Experience in GDS and Travel Industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Scheduling flexibility to support product releases.
• Ability to work under minimal direction.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment.
• Building and maintaining relationships with relevant support teams.
• Loves to document!
• Passionate about exploring process improvements.
• Working closely with a development team to bring new functionality to life.
