Job summary

Amex GBT in Manila, Philippines is seeking an experienced GDS Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain Sabre scripting and Sabre Red apps. You will convert legacy Sabre Scribe to modern TypeScript applications, build API integrations, and support Travel Consultants in PNR processing.

The role requires 5+ years in travel, 2+ years with Sabre Scribe/Red, strong TS/JS skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the travel industry, preferably in a travel agency or corporate travel management
• 2+ years developing and maintaining GDS scripts or applications: Sabre Scribe and/or Sabre Red apps (TypeScript)
• 3+ years hands-on experience with GDS systems, specifically Sabre
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for modern web development
• Extensive experience with corporate travel operational reservation workflows and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Flexibility to work at least half of a scheduled shift to align with US Central time zone
