Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in the Philippines is seeking a proactive Parcel Handling Services professional to oversee shipments, monitor orders, and coordinate with DHL/Schenker branches.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks within a shared services environment, including air invoicing, registrations, and claims reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any Business field required.
• Background in freight forwarding industry; air operations knowledge is a plus.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• High attention to detail; team player and able to prioritize tasks.
• Experience in a Shared Service within the same industry is preferred.
• Familiar with shipping documents and logistics terminology.

Responsibilities

• Follow up purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery with DHL/Schenker branches.
• Daily monitoring and tracking of shipping orders and status updates.
• Coordinate activities between internal and external parties; escalation and recovery.
• Register shipments and monitor milestones in CW1.
• Handle invoicing: review DHL invoices vs agreed rates and dispute management.
• Claims management and reporting/analysis (DHL KAD).

Parcel Handling Services

• PO’s follow up. Proactive action with the Schenker branches (from cargo AVL to POD) to make sure that TAT will be

respected

Parcel Handling Services

• Daily monitoring and tracking of shipping orders within Carla-Update of statuses, milestones, reason codes (QCT)and reconciliation for order management.
• Control of activities and coordination between internal parties (Schenker) and external (DHL, vendors, repair shops, suppliers)
• First escalation and recovery assistance (Investigation)
• Ensure TMS to be in full compliance by the origin and destination

Key Tasks & Deliverables

Parcel Services - Shipments orders, drop shipments* from AFI vendors, repair shops located in Asia and ROW*-Create shipments and edit labels (DHL+)

• Update Carla and SCM, Monitoring and tracking using my DHL+ application
• Claims management
• Reporting and Performance Analysis (DHL KAD)

Parcel Services - For export shipments out of Roissy and Singapore

• Follow up of shipments, checking and update
• Reconciliation in Carla and SCM, Monitoring and tracking
• Claims management
• Reporting and Performance Analysis (DHL KAD)

Air Invoicing

• Receiving and checking of DHL invoices vs agreed rates
• Dispute management and monitoring
• SGBS creates outgoing Invoices that Schenker FR will use to bill Air France Industries

Registration

• Shipment registration in CW1
• Monitoring and milestone update

Education And Skills

• Must be a graduate of a bachelor’s degree in any Business Field
• Has Background in the Freight Forwarding Industry. Knowing Air Operations is a plus.
• Communicates effectively (verbal and written)
• High attention to detail

• Can prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Good coordination skills and task/process oriented
• Flexible and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Confident in Speaking with Foreign Counterparts.
