The Senior Management Accountant is responsible for managing and optimizing the cost accounting processes for Atlanta and FEAPC, ensuring accurate production costs and financial reporting. This role involves setting up standard prodictio0n costs in SAP, calculating monthly actual processing costs, and maintaining standard costs for materials produced. The position also includes generating monthly inventory valuation reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create accurate budgets, and overseeing the timely completion of month-end tasks and reconciliations. Additionally, the Senior Management Accountant improves financial controls, manages agency billing, and supervises the processing of delivery expenses and freight charges.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or any related technical field. A master’s degree or MBA with focus on manufacturing operations is an advantage. A valid Certification (for Industrial Engineers) is highly preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in systems improvement related to business process management, preferably within the plastic pipes manufacturing or related industrial sectors.
Certified in Lean, Six Sigma (Yellow Belt, Green Belt or higher), or equivalent process improvement methodologies.
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, especially in PVC/cPVC/uPVC pipe production, including quality management systems, production workflow, and inventory control.
Proven track record in analyzing complex manufacturing processes and implementing process optimization strategies that enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
Familiarity with management standards such as ISO 9001, and experience maintaining and improving these systems within a manufacturing context.
Expertise in system integration and automation, working closely with IT and system developers to align manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP, and other operational technologies for seamless workflow.
Excellent communication skills suitable for liaising with department heads, operators, IT teams, and external partners, delivering training and facilitating effective collaboration.
Knowledgeable with manufacturing software systems including ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle), process mapping tools, and data analytics software for operational data analysis.
Strong problem-solving orientation, detail-focused, with demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results in a dynamic manufacturing setting focused on plastic pipe products.
