Dempsey Resource Management in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead finance and accounting operations on-site. You will oversee GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, payroll, and ensure timely month-end close while maintaining PFRS-compliant records.

You will manage cost accounting for manufacturing lines (coffee, ice cream, beverages), participate in budgeting/forecasting, and support pricing decisions with cost analyses.

Qualifications

• Solid accounting background with supervisory/managerial experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environment is an advantage (Food & Beverage preferred).
• Strong background in cost accounting is required.
• ERP system experience (NetSuite, Zoho or similar) is preferred.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax regulations is essential.
• Strong financial analysis capability is expected.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations
• Oversee general accounting functions (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Payroll)

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations
• Oversee general accounting functions (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Payroll).
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

• Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory valuation.
• Analyze production variances (material, labor, overhead).
• Review Bill of Materials (BOM) and costing updates.
• Ensure proper inventory reconciliation and physical count procedures.
• Implement cost control measures to improve gross margins.
• Budgeting & Financial Planning
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
• Analyze actual vs. budget performance.

• Ensure timely filing of BIR requirements (VAT, Withholding Tax, Income Tax).

• Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
• Monitor cash position and forecast cash requirements.

Education
