Qualifications

About the role

The Business Intelligence Developer handles the technical execution of analytics and automation projects. This role develops data products, including the Unified Dashboard, and implements AI-driven automation to connect data architecture with business intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Handle technical design, backend integration, and deployment of the APDU Unified Dashboard to provide executive reporting
• Create and scale automation solutions across business units using technical logic and AI-driven workflows
• Research and implement AI/ML applications to improve the department's data systems
• Readily assume tasks requiring immediate or urgent attention that may be reasonably assigned by the Team Leader
• Ensure compliance and adherence to the Safety, Health and Environment Manual, IMS Manual and other guidelines and policies related to EHS

Competencies

• Advanced expertise in predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and AI/ML implementation
• Mastery of dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Python-based frameworks like Streamlit) with a focus on UI/UX for data
• Proficiency in Python/R and SQL for building production-ready automation and ETL pipelines
• Ability to architect data flows that are modular, scalable, and easy to maintain
• At least 3 years' professional experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any 5-year related course
• Professional Individual Certification on Data Science or Data Analytics, preferred but not required
