Job summary

WeSupport Incorporated is seeking an experienced BI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI reports and dashboards. You will optimize SQL queries, manage ETL/ELT pipelines, and ensure data accuracy across large datasets using Databricks and Python.

Experience with SAP BusinessObjects or Qlik, plus Azure Data Factory or similar tools, is required. You will mentor junior teammates and contribute to best practices in data modeling and reporting.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience with SAP or Databricks (or both).
• Strong BI and data analytics background.
• Advanced SQL development skills with SQL-based databases (SSMS or equivalent).
• Experience with modern data platforms (Databricks, Python).
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory or similar data integration tools.
• Experience building and supporting BI reports/dashboards (Qlik, SAP BO).
• Experience transforming/validating large datasets for reporting/analytics.
• Understanding of dimensional modeling and star schema design.

About the role

Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions. This role encompasses business intelligence and data analytics, data engineering and integration, and production support with technical leadership responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects using SQL-based platforms (e.g., SSMS or equivalent)
• Analyze, transform, validate, and reconcile large datasets to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Work with modern data platforms such as Databricks and Python for data processing and analytics
• Develop and maintain BI solutions using tools such as SAP BusinessObjects, Qlik, or similar enterprise reporting platforms
• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines
• Build and support data integration workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) or similar orchestration tools
• Provide production support for BI platforms, reporting solutions, and data pipelines, ensuring high availability and reliability
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions for data and system-related incidents
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical knowledge sharing and best practices

About you
