Job summary

Talkpush in the Philippines (Metro Manila, Taguig) is seeking a Business Analyst to support operational units through data analysis, trend identification, and recommended actions. You’ll ensure data consistency and reporting accuracy, collaborating with management to define requirements and deliver actionable insights.

The role covers duties from data audits to documenting reports and adopting new technologies, with a hybrid setup and allowance for night shifts in Bridgetowne, Pasig.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree in applicable related field.
• 2-4 years of data analytics and reporting experience.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.

• Utilizes systems to create and deliver actionable analysis to meet stakeholder’s needs, working with team to clarify reporting needs and understand the scope of request if necessary
• Audits and analyzes data to verify quality, data integrity, and reporting functionality; researches and troubleshoots technical issues or data anomalies
• Works with team to create efficiencies in data analysis
• Maintains proper documentation of all reports
• Learns new technologies and systems to advance knowledge of reporting and analysis
• Serves as an internal resource and provides information and training as required

SUMMARY:

The Business Analyst will assist the operational business units by performing data analysis and identifying trends that will allow the business to improve business performance. This position will also be responsible for the consistency and integrity of data reported. This position works with all levels of management to determine reporting analysis requirements. Communicates improvement opportunities or analysis directly to business unit leaders by drawing observations and making actionable recommendations to address operational challenges.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

• Proficient (basic to intermediate skill level) with desktop applications such as Microsoft Office (VBA is a plus)
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and ETL processes
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of relational database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL Server, Microsoft Access, IBM DB2, Google Big Query or similar
• Experience with Business Intelligence software such as: Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, or similar is a plus
