You will file H-1B, L-1A/L-1B/L-2, TN, O-1, and E-3 petitions, support PERM and I-140/I-485 workflows, and draft client-ready letters while maintaining strict case timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of direct business immigration paralegal experience.
• Experience preparing filings for H-1B/H-4, L-1A/L-1B/L-2, TN, O-1 and E-3.
• Experience with PERM, I-140 (EB categories) and I-485 case support.
• Strong drafting skills for RFEs, NOIDs and PERM audits.
• Excellent written and verbal English for client-facing work.

Responsibilities

As a Business Immigration Paralegal , you will play a pivotal role in managing complex immigration cases for employment-based clients. You will work independently, handling a high-volume caseload and ensuring seamless, professional service to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a high-volume employment-based immigration caseload with accuracy and strong client service
• Prepare and file non-immigrant petitions including H-1B/H-4, L-1A/L-1B/L-2, TN, O-1, and E-3 matters
• Support immigrant processes including PERM, I-140 (EB-1A, EB-1C, EB-2, EB-3), I-485, and EB-2 NIW
• Draft strong, compliant support letters for O-1 and L-1A filings that clearly present eligibility arguments
• Draft basic letters for H-1B filings and simple RFE responses with clean, client-ready writing
• Prepare detailed responses for complex RFEs, NOIDs, and PERM audit responses with well-organized exhibits and timelines
• Maintain tight case tracking, calendars, and internal documentation to ensure deadlines are consistently met
• Communicate directly with clients and stakeholders in professional, clear written and verbal English (and Spanish when needed)
• Provide proactive updates, flag risks early, and keep cases moving without constant follow-ups
• Ensure drafting and client-facing communication are human-written and professionally polished (no reliance on AI-generated messaging)

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of direct business (employment-based) immigration paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate immigration environment
• Hands-on experience preparing and supporting filings for H-1B/H-4, L-1A/L-1B/L-2, TN, O-1, and E-3
• Hands-on experience with PERM, I-140 (EB categories), and I-485 case support (including complex documentation workflows)
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong legal drafting skills, including support letters and detailed responses to RFEs/NOIDs/PERM audits
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for client-facing work
• Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and deadline management in a high-output legal environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with EB-2 NIW drafting support and evidence organization
• Experience with complex O-1 case strategy support (e.g., evidence mapping, exhibit indexing, narrative building)
• Familiarity with common immigration case management systems and high-discipline tracking practices
• Prior experience supporting multiple attorneys/clients concurrently in a structured, metrics-driven workflow
