Job Summary:
We're aiming to add an experienced Immigration Paralegal to support our business immigration practice. This role centers on preparing and compiling complete filing packets for submission to USCIS, with a focus on employment-based visa categories. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience assembling H, L, and E visa petitions and understands both Adjustment of Status and Consular Processing pathways.
Prepare and compile complete immigration filing packets for USCIS submission
Assemble supporting documentation for employment-based visa petitions, including H, L, and E categories
Organize and review evidence packages for both Adjustment of Status (AOS) and Consular Processing (CP) cases
Draft and format supporting letters, forms, and exhibits in line with USCIS filing standards
Track filing requirements, checklists, and documentation gaps across active matters
Maintain organized digital case files and ensure all documents are complete before filing
Follow up on outstanding client documents and flag missing items proactively
Verify accuracy and consistency across all forms and supporting evidence prior to submission
Support the attorney with case preparation tasks and administrative follow-through
Proven experience preparing US immigration filing packets for USCIS
Direct experience with employment-based petitions, specifically H, L, and E visa categories
Working knowledge of both Adjustment of Status and Consular Processing procedures
Strong understanding of USCIS forms, filing requirements, and supporting evidence standards
Excellent document organization and file management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing legal documents
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Prior experience working with a US-based immigration law firm
Familiarity with family-based immigration matters in addition to business immigration
Experience with case management or legal document management software
Ability to manage multiple active case files simultaneously
Background in legal studies or paralegal training
