Business Immigration Consultant
Biz Immigration Consultant role focuses on end‑to‑end immigration support and advisory to clients in the Philippines.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of case/matter‑related duties requiring specialized knowledge and skills in employment‑based immigration matters.
- See each case through from initiation to completion, ensuring accurate, complete, and technically correct applications.
- Advise clients on Philippines immigration regulations, procedures, requirements, and policies.
- Maintain good communication and relationships with clients’ main contacts, keeping them fully informed on case progress.
- Review instructions for new cases, identify key issues that may impact start dates and visa requirements, and advise clients and assignees accordingly.
- Research, prepare, and formulate advice for clients.
- Maintain constant contact with local authorities responsible for processing immigration applications.
- Keep clients informed on any changes to immigration requirements, regulations or visa processes.
- Manage case work efficiently within agreed or standard timeframes, using case‑management tools and internal risk‑management policies.
- Update the Firm’s case‑management system and maintain client files in accordance with practice protocols and service‑level agreements.
- Assist in compiling metrics and reports required under contractual agreements with clients.
- Attend to invoicing upon completion of each case.
- Participate in conflict resolution, manage client expectations, and develop positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot issues and support management when client escalations arise.
- Work under moderate supervision, being accountable to individual results and team impact.
- Mentor or guide junior‑level case workers.
- Participate in business process improvements, technical training, and other projects as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Good degree in any discipline with one to two years of Philippine immigration work experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to achieve a high level of productivity and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment with competing demands.
- Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress, status, and issues to supervisors.
- Demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team.
- Contribute to a positive work environment.
