Job summary

AIA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking a capable professional to enable the SSM Business Center Specialists to work effectively with key stakeholders and deliver timely support to sales channels across new business and after-sales transactions. Responsibilities

  • Sales and Transaction Support: end-to-end support for new business and after-sales transactions, including screening and endorsements.
  • Stakeholder Management: coordinate with internal stakeholders and partner units to resolve escalated sales cases.
  • Communication, Reporting & Enablement: cascade updates, prepare reports, and support sales productivity.
  • Process Improvement & Governance: assist in documenting and improving sales support policies and procedures.
  • Work cross-functionally on process documentation, system enhancements, and project execution.
  • Cascades operational updates and sales support communications to sales, Operations, and related teams.
  • Prepares and presents key updates and reports during general assemblies for assigned divisions.
  • Develops and distributes reports and insights to support sales productivity and persistency.
  • Helps improve, document, and implement sales support policies and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

The position is primarily responsible for enabling the SSM Business Center Specialists to work effectively with all key stakeholders and to consistently deliver timely and accurate support to sales channels across new business and after-sales transactions. The role also collaborates with partner departments to drive sales productivity, improve operational efficiency, and ensure seamless end-to-end business support.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Sales and Transaction Support
    • Provides end-to-end support for new business and after-sales transactions, including application screening, requirements assessment, and endorsement to relevant units.
    • Ensures timely processing of prioritized cases, especially during month-end cut-off periods.
    • Clearly communicates pending and outstanding requirements to sales to enable faster case resolution.
  • Stakeholder Management and Issue Resolution
    • Coordinates with internal stakeholders and partner units to resolve escalated sales cases.
    • Works cross-functionally on business initiatives such as process documentation, system enhancements, and project execution.
  • Communication, Reporting, and Enablement
    • Cascades operational updates, policy reminders, and sales support communications to sales, Operations, and related teams.
    • Prepares and presents key updates and reports during general assemblies for assigned divisions.
    • Develops and distributes reports and insights to support sales productivity, performance tracking, and persistency.
  • Process Improvement and Governance
    • Assists the Business Center Manager in improving, documenting, and implementing sales support policies and procedures.
    • Ensures compliance with company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Creates job aids, quick guides, and FAQs to enhance sales capability and reduce operational friction.
Minimum Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in insurance operations or a comparable role.
  • Strong understanding of process design, controls, and data interpretation.
  • Proven analytical, problem‑solving, and initiative‑taking capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
