Job summary

Equitable Computer Services, Inc. is hiring a Business Analyst I to analyze and document client business processes and requirements for system implementation. You will ensure that specifications are clearly documented and communicated to the Project Team and stakeholders.

The role involves participating in BPR with clients, liaising with end-users, meeting with clients as needed, and ensuring changes are fully documented and communicated to the team. 0–2 years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/CE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Business Analyst I is mainly responsible for analyzing and documenting the business processes, workflows, and other requirements of the clients to incorporate such in the implementation of the system. S/he shall ensure that the system specifications and requirements are being documented and communicated to the Project Team and to other interested stakeholders.

• Participates in Business Process Review (BPR) with clients
• Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users
• Meets and interacts with clients as needed
• Works closely with the other project team members to ensure documented requirements are met
• Monitors, controls, tracks, and fully documents changes for functional and business specifications
• Writing detailed procedures for permanent records, software development, and for the purpose of training
• Prepares necessary technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing available information and trends
• Engages on activities that will enhance knowledge in the system being implemented, discovering trends, and identifying opportunities for system improvement
• Assists the Project Manager in providing the completeness of the necessary documents
• Performs duties and responsibilities analogous to the foregoing
