Job summary

Stratpoint Technologies is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business objectives and technical execution. You will gather project requirements, define scope, and translate complex needs for development teams.

Reporting to the Project Manager or Delivery Head, you’ll monitor progress and ensure deliverables align with the original vision. You will work with clients and partners across tech stacks, using tools like Draw.io and Figma to visualize workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• Strong ability to organize complex ideas into decks and present to stakeholders.
• Proficient in creating data models and ERDs, with detailed data dictionaries.
• Experience facilitating workshops and design sprints.
• Clear data-driven communicator influencing decisions with rationale.

Responsibilities

The Role

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business objectives and technical execution by analyzing complex needs and translating them into clear, actionable requirements for development teams. You will act as a primary consultant to stakeholders, working directly with them to gather project requirements, define scope, and evaluate the overall impact and performance of business solutions.

Your role will be pivotal in driving project integrity by managing change requests, monitoring development progress, and rigorously reviewing deliverables to ensure they align with the original vision. Reporting to the Project Manager or Delivery Head, you will balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to ensure every project requirement is met with precision and excellence.

Your Team

In this role, you will be:

• Directly reporting to the AI Product Manager or Business Unit Head
• Will be part of the squad handled by Project Manager/Scrum Master
• Includes client communication with Client PO and other stakeholders for Requirements Gathering

We work/You will work closely with our business partners, the household brands in technology, such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft and AI Engineering.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead Discovery & Problem Framing: Facilitate discovery activities, including stakeholder interviews and workshops, to frame business problems and map high-value opportunities.
• Translate Needs into Requirements: Bridge the gap between business and technology by translating complex user needs into clear, actionable functional requirements and design strategies.
• Requirements Lifecycle Management: Gather, document, and manage business requirements using standard methodologies, ensuring all documentation is audience-appropriate and accurately captures key data for quality solutions.
• Strategic Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project scope, prioritize roadmaps, and evaluate trade-offs to ensure technical solutions align with business value.
• Process & Solution Design: Partner with technical teams to assist in solution design, utilizing tools like Draw.io or Figma tools, such as Figjam and Figma make, to visualize workflows and ensure the final product meets the intended business result.
• Proactive Issue & Risk Management: Take ownership of project issues by engaging the right resources, tracking potential risks, and escalating concerns in a timely manner to maintain project momentum.
• Quality Assurance & Validation: Oversee the integrity of deliverables by performing testing for enhancements and ensuring that implementation accurately reflects the documented business requirements.
• Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation, coordinating with team members to obtain estimates while mentoring peers to uplift the overall business analysis practice.

About You

You are/have: (required skills needed)

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• Ability to organize complex ideas into structured presentation decks and articulate solutions clearly to stakeholders
• Proficient in creating process models, data models (entity-relationship diagrams or ERDs), and maintaining detailed data dictionaries.
• Strong facilitator for workshops and design sprints
• Clear, data-driven communicator who influences decisions through design rationale
• Good to have UI/UX capabilities backed by case studies demonstrating end-to-end design work.
• You have excellent facilitation skills and can run workshops or design sprints when needed
• You communicate clearly and influence decisions through data, insights, and design rationale
• Proven experience in business or requirements analysis
• Ability to facilitate A/B testing or User testing
• Ability to cope under pressure and prioritize work accordingly
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated work style with strong adherence to deadlines
• Preferably with experience in the Insurance industry
• You can make informed design decisions and guide teams toward the best outcomes
