Job summary

Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) seeks a dedicated professional to coordinate and deliver seafarer training. You will work with the MTC Manager, SMC, CSC, and other departments to ensure high-quality training and safe operations aboard BSM vessels.

Responsibilities include facilitating courses, evaluating learning transfer, and improving training facilities and systems. Occasional ship visits support currency of skills and program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating maritime training programs and courses.
• Ability to ensure compliance with internal and external quality systems.
• Proven skills in coordinating with multiple departments and managers.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and run relevant courses efficiently.
• Coordinate activities with the MTC Manager, SMC, CSC and other departments.
• Deliver training in a quality-assured environment to improve safety and performance.
• Assess seafarers and ensure learning transfer through evaluation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of training facilities and systems.
• Coordinate training activities across MTC and third-party institutions.
• Support ship visits and on-board training to maintain currency of skills.
• Ensure training facilities and simulators are prepared and safe for courses.
• Keep informed on industry trends affecting training needs and inputs.
• Assist in annual training planning and budgeting processes.
