The role ensures the plant, machinery, and supporting systems run safely and efficiently, with a focus on preventive maintenance and prompt repairs. Responsibilities include upkeep of structural elements, plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, and heavy-duty laundry equipment such as extractors and ironers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with industrial plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy parts, climb ladders, and stand for long shifts in warm environments.
• Safety knowledge for industrial settings.
• Experience in factory, plant maintenance, or commercial laundry facility; fresh graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Facility Upkeep: Maintain building structures, including flooring, walls, ceilings, doors, and roofing, especially moisture management.
• Plumbing and Drainage: Service heavy-duty industrial plumbing, commercial water lines, steam pipes, and drainage systems.
• HVAC and Ventilation: Maintain exhaust fans, ventilation units, and heating/cooling systems.
• Electrical Work: Inspect and repair high-voltage wiring, control panels, and motor connections for large-scale washers.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on commercial extractors, ironers, and washers.

Job description

The building and equipment maintenance technician for our industrial laundry facility will keep the physical plant, building systems, and high-volume washing and drying machinery running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Upkeep: Maintain building structures, including flooring, walls, ceilings, doors, and roofing, especially managing moisture and high-humidity wear.

• Plumbing and Drainage: Service heavy-duty industrial plumbing, commercial water lines, steam pipes, chemical feed lines, and large wastewater drainage systems.

• HVAC and Ventilation: Maintain facility exhaust fans, ventilation units, and heating or cooling systems to control high heat and humidity from industrial dryers.

• Electrical Work: Inspect and repair high-voltage electrical wiring, control panels, and motor connections for large-scale washers and tumblers.

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on commercial extractors, large ironers, folders, and high-volume washers.

Qualifications and Skills

• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with industrial plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy parts, climb ladders, bend, and stand for long shifts in warm environments.

• Safety Knowledge
