Service Technician is responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial laundry machines. The technician assures consistent performance, provides outstanding client service, and follows all safety and industry regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Installation

• Install washing machines, dryers, and laundromats on industrial premises.
• Connect water supply lines, drainage pipelines, and electrical or gas connections correctly.
• After installation, test the machine to ensure it is operating correctly and safely.

Diagnosis

• Inspect defective washers and dryers to find the cause of the issue at hand.
• Diagnose leaks, drainage concerns, drum faults, heating failures, vibration/noise, and electronic defects.

Maintenance

• Repair or replace damaged components such as motors, belts, pumps, valves, heaters, thermostats, sensors, and control boards.
• Perform routine maintenance to increase efficiency and avoid future problems.
• Reset error codes, calibrate settings, and reprogram digital controls as needed.

Safety & Regulation

• Maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing safety regulations.
• Ensure that installations comply with local codes and manufacturer specifications.
• During all servicing jobs, use appropriate personal protective equipment and adhere to safe work regulations.

Tools & Equipment Management

• Maintain tools, testing equipment, and spare parts inventory.
• Report or replace damaged tools as necessary.

Continuous development

• Stay up with the latest washer and dryer technologies, models, and repair techniques.
• Attend training seminars or manufacturer workshops as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferable).
• Technical or vocational training in appliance maintenance, electrical systems, or mechanical technologies is preferable.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in appliance repair or a related field (preferred).
• Experience specifically with washers and dryers is an advantage.
