Job summary

You will manage preventive maintenance, coordinate with external contractors, and ensure compliance with local codes. The role requires hands-on skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and strong communication to work with the team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building maintenance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general building repair techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that might include lifting, climbing, and using various tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of the building’s system and structures to identify issues before they become major problems.
• Handle minor repairs for plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, roofing, and other building systems.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for equipment and systems.
• Ensure that all building systems function efficiently and their expected lifespan.
• Oversee cleaning and upkeep of common areas, ensuring that they are safe and welcoming.
• Coordinate and communicate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repair and maintenance.
• Ensure that the building complies with local, state and federal building codes and safety regulations.
