Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer to oversee the reliability, maintenance, and improvement of critical building systems at Vertis North.

You will lead day-to-day operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, contractor supervision, and compliance to keep facilities safe and fully operational for tenants and partners. The ideal candidate has a mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering background with PRC license and 1–2 years in building engineering or facilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with PRC License is required.
• 1-2 years of experience in building engineering, facilities management, or property maintenance, preferably in mixed-use environments.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage contractors, and prioritize technical work.
• Familiarity with Quezon City building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Willing to be based in Vertis North and available for on-call/emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of MEP systems — chillers, HVAC, generators, electrical distribution, water supply, sewage, fire protection, and vertical transport.
• Plan, execute, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules; track equipment performance and lifespan.
• Respond promptly to system failures, emergencies, and tenant concerns; lead troubleshooting and restoration.
• Supervise in-house technical team and third-party contractors; enforce safety standards, work permits, and quality benchmarks.
• Manage utility consumption, implement energy-saving initiatives, and control operational costs.
• Ensure full compliance with national and local building codes, fire safety laws, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, budget forecasts, and capital project proposals.
• Coordinate with property management, tenants, and regulatory authorities on inspections and permits.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering — PRC License required
