Job summary

CBRE is seeking a licensed Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety controls. The role covers preventive maintenance and service tasks across multiple facilities within the client’s site.

You will perform inspections, ensure compliance with codes, support energy management, and coach team members while upholding CBRE's RISE values. This full-time, on-site position requires 2–3 years of relevant experience and readiness

Qualifications

• Licensed engineer with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to meet physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting 50 lbs+.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong analytical and math skills; good organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to building systems per standards.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain energy management programs to maximize efficiency.
• Assist preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Review inspections of building systems to ensure design compliance.
• Share knowledge and coach others within the function.
