Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Build Systems Engineer to design and scale the infrastructure behind our software construction processes. You will bridge development and operations to keep large monorepos fast, reproducible, and reliable through advanced tooling.

In this role you will architect build pipelines with Bazel, optimize performance with caching and remote execution, manage monorepo structures, and orchestrate CI/CD workflows using Buildkite.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Build Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing large-scale build systems with Bazel or similar tools.
• Proficiency in optimizing build performance and managing monorepo tooling at scale.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD orchestration tools like Buildkite.
• Deep understanding of hermetic builds and reproducible software environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to define best practices for build safety, performance monitoring, and internal tooling.
