Westside Resort in Parañaque, Metro Manila, is seeking a Broadcast Staff to maintain LED displays and broadcast systems for casino events and promotions. You will ensure screens are physically sound, content plays correctly, and event setups are built to specification.

You will hang panels, test video paths, operate switchers, and manage media in the Vitec CMS, while adhering to safety protocols and keeping accurate logs and inventory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s degree in Broadcast Engineering preferred.
• 2+ years in Broadcast/Visual/LED tech or related field.
• Strict adherence to health and safety protocols, including harness use when working at heights.
• Flexible with different work schedules and able to perform under busy operations.

Responsabilités

• Hang, stack, and cable LED panels for events per signal plots and rigging standards.
• Set up and test signal converters, encoders, and decoders for live broadcasts.
• Operate video switchers and playback decks for live cues during promotions and raffles.
• Edit, transcode, or crop media to match LED processors’ native resolution.
• Manage routing of video signals (SDI, NDI, Fiber) to main switchers.
• Sync video content with house audio or timecode for light & sound shows.
• Upload, tag, and schedule media assets in the Vitec CMS and map to displays.
• Maintain daily logs of content playout and technical repairs.
• Conduct inventory counts of spare modules and cables after teardown.
• Check cooling fans and ventilation to prevent overheating.

About the role

The Broadcast Staff provide the essential technical labor and manual operation required to keep the property's LED displays and broadcast systems functional. This role ensures that every screen is physically sound, every content file is playing correctly, and every event-specific setup is built to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Physically hang, stack, and cable LED panels for casino events and raffles according to signal plots and rigging standards
• Set up and test signal converters, encoders, and decoders to ensure a stable path for live video broadcasts
• Operate video switchers and playback decks to execute live cues during property promotions and raffles
• Perform quick edits, transcoding, or cropping of media files to ensure they match the native resolution of specific LED processors
• Manage the physical and virtual routing of video signals (SDI, NDI, or Fiber) from various sources (cameras, PCs) to the main switchers
• Assist in syncing video content with house audio systems or timecode triggers for synchronized Light & Sound shows
• Upload, tag, and schedule media assets within the Vitec CMS, ensuring content is mapped to the correct displays
• Maintain accurate daily logs of content playout and technical repairs for audit and verification purposes
• Conduct inventory counts of spare modules and cables following the teardown (strike) of temporary event setups
• Physically check cooling fans and ventilation within LED cabinets to prevent overheating and thermal shutdown

About you

• High School Diploma (required)
• Associate's Degree in Broadcast Engineering or a related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of technical experience in Broadcast/Visual/LED technology or a related field
• Strictly adhere to all health and safety protocols, including the use of harnesses when working at heights or on ladders
• Shows flexibility in adjusting to different work schedules
• Complies with the Company's Code of Conduct and other policies & procedures
• Ensures accuracy of work output by showing attention to detail
• Meets high quality output even during busy operations
