Westside Resort is seeking a seasoned AV Operations Lead to manage the tactical execution of audio-visual services across Executive Boardrooms, Function Rooms, and Ballrooms, ensuring “Show-Ready” standards for corporate meetings and gala events.

You will bridge management strategy with hands-on technician labor, supervise crews, and coordinate pre-event walkthroughs with clients to finalize AV placements, while maintaining safety and high-quality output in luxury spaces.

Responsabilités

• Compile weekly technical logs for all corporate venue incidents and repairs.
• Lead post-event inventory to prevent equipment loss during strike phases.
• Conduct safety briefings for staff regarding ladder use and PPE.
• Assign technician tasks for AV builds in Ballrooms and daily checks in Boardrooms.
• Conduct pre-event walk-throughs with corporate clients to finalize placement.
• Ensure all adapters, clickers, and cabling are staged for high-level meetings.
• Supervise the build and cabling of Ballroom AV systems (audio, lighting, projection).
• Lead acoustic tuning of Ballroom sound systems and projector focus in Function Rooms.
• Verify overhead gear is secured with safety cables and rigging SOPs.
• Operate and monitor video conferencing and automation in Boardrooms.

About the role

To manage the tactical execution of AV services across Executive Boardrooms, Function Rooms, and Ballrooms, bridging management strategy with hands‑on technician labor. To guarantee "Show-Ready" standards for every corporate meeting and gala event, while maintaining the BGM environment for luxury spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Compile weekly technical logs for all Corporate venue incidents and repairs

• Lead the post-event inventory count in the Ballroom to prevent equipment loss during "strike" phases

• Conduct safety briefings for staff regarding ladder use in Function Rooms and PPE in Ballrooms

• Assign technician tasks for AV builds in the Ballrooms and daily tech-checks in Executive Boardrooms

• Conduct pre-event walk‑throughs with Corporate clients to finalize AV placement in Function Rooms

• Ensure all specialized boardroom adapters, clickers, and cabling are staged for high‑level Executive meetings

• Supervise the physical build and cabling of large‑scale Ballroom audio, lighting, and projection systems

• Lead the acoustic tuning of Ballroom sound systems and the focus of high‑lumen projectors in Function Rooms

• Verify all overhead gear in the Ballrooms is secured with safety cables and meets all rigging SOPs

• Lead the daily operation and monitoring of video conferencing and automation in Executive Boardrooms

About you

• Bachelor\'s or Associate\'s Degree

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive technical experience in Audio Visual (AV) operations, with at least 1–2 years in a senior, lead, or supervisory capacity

• Shows flexibility in adjusting to different work schedules

• Complies with the Company\'s Code of Conduct and other policies & procedures

• Shows best effort in accomplishing goals

• Ensures accuracy of work output by showing attention to detail
