Job summary

GAMA Foods Corporation is seeking a Breeder Technical Manager to provide veterinary and technical leadership for breeder farm operations, focusing on flock health, reproductive performance and egg production. You will collaborate with farm teams to implement sound practices, address technical issues, and ensure adherence to production, health and biosecurity standards.

The role requires leadership, travel to breeder farm locations, and the ability to drive improvements across multiple sites

Qualifications

Graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Licensed Veterinarian.
Experience in breeder farm operations or poultry production is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of breeder flock management, reproductive health, vaccination, disease prevention and biosecurity.
Ability to monitor egg production, fertility, hatchability, mortality and flock uniformity.
Proven leadership, analytical, communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Lead breeder health and flock management programs to meet production targets.
Evaluate flock performance including egg production, fertility and hatchability.
Conduct technical farm assessments and provide veterinary recommendations.
Coach Farm Managers, Veterinarians and supervisors on breeder management and biosecurity.
Review farm data and develop action plans to improve productivity and hatchery support.
