Position: Trade Marketing Specialist
Shift: Hybrid (Mon-Thurs, Onsite), (Friday, Remote) 9AM - 6PM or 10AM - 7:00PM
Level/ Status: Associate - Contractual (5-months)
Salary Range 45,000 - 50,000

JOB SUMMARY:
This role is primarily execution-focused, ensuring that all national and localized campaigns are translated into high-quality, on-ground retail executions across stores, partner retailers, and emerging formats. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong coordination and project management skills, and is comfortable balancing both office-based planning and field execution. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that brand campaigns are experienced consistently and effectively at the store level.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring strong relationship management and high client satisfaction.
- Manage end-to-end account operations, from brief intake to execution, delivery, and post-campaign evaluation.
- Understand client objectives and translate them into clear, actionable briefs for internal teams.
- Present campaign proposals, updates, and results to clients in a clear and strategic manner.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and expand existing accounts to drive revenue growth.
- Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations, timelines, and agreed scope.
- Handle client concerns, feedback, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
- Work closely with internal teams (Creative, Operations, and Finance) to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Monitor account performance, campaign effectiveness, and client satisfaction metrics.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client communications, contracts, and project details.
2. Strategic & Business Development Support
- Contribute to account growth strategies and long-term client retention plans.
- Assist in preparing proposals, pitch decks, and presentations for new and existing clients.
- Support in identifying new business opportunities within handled accounts or networks.
- Oversee billing, invoicing, and collection processes in coordination with the Finance team.
- Ensure profitability of accounts by managing scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor budgets, quotations, and cost estimates for client projects.
- Ensure all commercial terms and agreements are properly implemented and followed.
Campaign Execution, Retail Deployment & Operations Support
1. Campaign Adaptation & Execution
- Translate national and brand campaigns into store-ready and retailer-specific executions, ensuring
- Prepare and manage all required campaign assets, including print, digital, and in-store materials.
- Ensure all executions strictly follow brand guidelines, visual identity standards, and messaging frameworks.
- Monitor deployment timelines and ensure campaigns are launched accurately and on schedule.
- Identify and proactively address execution gaps or inconsistencies across stores.
2. Project Management & Deployment Monitoring
- Develop, maintain, and update project trackers, timelines, and task lists for all ongoing campaigns and initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones.
- Track and report execution KPIs, including deployment status, completion rates, and compliance.
- Prepare regular status reports and updates for internal stakeholders.
- Attend meetings, alignment sessions, and weekly/monthly cadence calls to ensure smooth coordination.
3. Retail Strategy, Store Execution & Field Work
- Execute rollout plans across assigned stores and territories, in close coordination with internal stakeholders and territory teams.
- Support the planning and execution of pilot programs and new retail formats, contributing insights to improve customer experience and engagement.
- Collaborate in developing store merchandising strategies, including display placements and customer journey touchpoints.
- Conduct monthly trade checks and store visits to validate execution quality, compliance, and overall store readiness.
- Document findings from store visits and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Participate in territory immersions to better understand operational realities and customer behavior.
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for the production, delivery, and installation of campaign materials.
- Ensure all deliverables meet required quality standards and deadlines.
- Work closely with retail partners and internal teams to ensure proper execution of communication materials.
- Monitor vendor performance and flag any issues related to timelines, quality, or compliance.
5. Budget Tracking & Financial Coordination
- Track and monitor actual spend versus allocated budgets for all execution-related activities.
- Maintain organized records of expenses, billing documents, and supporting materials.
- Assist in budget reconciliation by preparing accurate and timely reports.
- Ensure cost efficiency while maintaining execution quality.
6. Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including Creative, Brand, and Territory teams to ensure alignment
- Serve as a central point of coordination for execution-related concerns and updates.
- Escalate operational challenges, risks, and delays to the Manager in a timely manner.
- Ensure clear, consistent, and proactive communication across all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in retail marketing, trade marketing, campaign execution, or project coordination (fresh graduates with strong internship experience may be considered).
- Strong project management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in handling vendors and suppliers is an advantage.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
- Willing to travel and conduct regular fieldwork and store visits.
