Job summary

CBS China Bank Savings is seeking a Branch Service Officer to assist the Branch Service Head in supervising day-to-day branch operations, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and internal controls. The role emphasizes clearing, end-of-day balancing, and overseeing the New Accounts section.

Qualifications

• Must be a college graduate of any 4-year course.
• At least 5 years experience in branch banking operations including new accounts, tellering and clearing operations.
• Extensive knowledge of bank policies and procedures for branch operations.
• Customer service oriented and able to supervise people.
• Willing to be assigned in Iba, Zambales.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Service Head in day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with policies and internal controls.
• Oversee clearing operations and end-of-day balancing and callback of transactions.
• Supervise the New Accounts section, including customer servicing and account openings.
• Act as Control Officer and Unit Compliance Coordinator for the branch and implement efficient operations with minimal risk.
• Provide coaching and training to staff and serve as reliever to Branch Service Head when needed.
