JRS Business Corporation is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to oversee both sales and delivery functions at the local branch, ensuring targets, revenue growth, and service quality.
The role requires leadership of delivery riders and support staff, with focus on financial reporting, asset safeguarding and process improvements. Willingness to travel and holidays is expected due to operational needs.
This role is responsible for overseeing both the sales and delivery operations of the branch, ensuring the achievement of performance targets, revenue growth, and maintain operational efficiency and providing excellent customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee daily branch operations, including shipments pick-up and delivery, ensuring timely dispatch and successful completion of deliveries.
Track KPIs such as delivery success rate and drive branch performance to meet monthly and annual sales targets.
Recommend branch repairs and upgrades including potential branch locations based on market demand.
Supervise all branch personnel including delivery riders, counter clerks, and support team.
Lead operations performance reviews in collaboration with the Area Manager
Manage customer inquiries and complaints related to delivery and branch services, ensuring prompt resolution.
Implement service improvement plans based on feedback and operational issues.
Monitor and report all financial transactions including COD, POD remittances, branch sales, and revolving funds.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with company policy.
Safeguard branch assets that include parcels, cash, and delivery vehicles.
Coordinate recruitment, training and evaluations of the team with the Area Manager and HR.
Responsible for ensuring the on-time return of POD to the concerned department for billing.
Monitor inventory levels of equipment and supplies and coordinate replenishment to avoid running out of supplies or overstock.
Performs other task that may be assigned by the Management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Has held Supervisory Position for at least 2 years
Proven experience in area management and delivery
Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a Logistics & Transport Industry
Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
Solid understanding of financial and operational management
Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
Excellent Computer Skills, particularly Excel, Power Point, and Word
Excellent written and Oral communication.
Willing to Travel and to be assigned to other Areas
Willing to work in Holidays due to operational requirements
