Sun Savings Bank, Inc. is a premier thrift bank dedicated to the financial growth of the Visayas community. As we expand our footprint to serve more clients, we are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Branch Manager to lead our brand-new branch in Dumaguete City.

We are looking for a strategic leader and veteran banking professional who brings exceptional business development acumen, high-level operational expertise, and a rigorous approach to compliance and risk management.

As the Dumaguete Branch Manager, you will be the driving force behind the branch's growth, operational excellence, and community presence. You will hold dual responsibility for accelerating deposit and loan portfolios while safeguarding the bank’s assets through strict operational integrity.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Strategic Business Development: Drive branch profitability by actively acquiring new retail and corporate accounts, expanding deposit bases, and identifying local lending opportunities within the Dumaguete and broader Negros Oriental market.

• Operational Leadership & Oversight: Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, 100% accuracy, and flawless service delivery. You will hold ultimate accountability for the branch's financial and operational performance.

• Strict Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure the branch strictly adheres to Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) regulations, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) acts, "Know Your Customer" (KYC) protocols, and internal bank policies.

• Team Mentorship & Performance Management: Lead, inspire, and mentor branch staff (including operations officers, tellers, and account officers), fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and strict risk awareness.

• Community & Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep, trust-based relationships with key local stakeholders, business owners, and depositors, delivering the signature hospitality and service excellence Sun Savings is known for.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years of solid experience in banking, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity as a Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, or senior relationship manager. Local market knowledge of Dumaguete City and Negros Oriental is highly preferred.

• Growth Mindset with Risk-First Guardrails: A proven track record of meeting business targets combined with a deep understanding of internal controls, risk management, and audit readiness.

• Technical & Credit Mastery: Strong proficiency in core banking systems, financial analysis, and basic credit evaluation for commercial or retail lending.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.

• Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in Cebuano and English is essential.
