Job summary

Infinity 88 Business Consultancy is seeking an Auditor to conduct branch operational audits, cash and financial audits, and pawned items inventory reviews. The role includes evaluating SOP compliance, internal controls, and fraud risk indicators across multiple branches in the Philippines.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, 3–5 years in internal or operational audit, and 1–2 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of internal audit or branch-operations audit experience.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or team-leading experience preferred.
• Experience in pawnshop or retail financial services is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AML/CTF controls and cash management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise regular and surprise audits of pawnshop branches.
• Evaluate compliance with SOPs, policies, and internal controls.
• Review branch transactions for completeness and accuracy.
• Examine customer records, pawn tickets, and system entries.
• Verify transactions within authorized limits and procedures.
• Assess cash handling, documentation, and recordkeeping.
• Identify inefficiencies and control weaknesses; prepare findings and corrective actions.
• Conduct cash counts and reconcile balances; review receipts and deposits.
• Reconcile collections and payments; investigate discrepancies.
• Audit pawned items and inventory; verify tagging and custody.
• Assess compliance with vault controls and security measures.
• Escalate fraud indicators; coordinate with other departments as needed.
