Job summary

PREXIPHIL CORPORATION is seeking a skilled boom truck operator to safely move materials between job sites in Metro Manila. You will perform pre-use checks, position the truck, deploy outriggers, and operate the hydraulic crane in accordance with safety standards.

Candidates must hold a heavy vehicle license, TESDA NC II in Heavy Equipment Operation, and have proven crane operation experience; knowledge of load distribution and rigging is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Professional Driver's License for heavy vehicles
• Proven experience operating a boom truck/mobile crane
• Knowledge of load charts, weight distribution, rigging techniques
• Strong safety mindset and clear hand signaling

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate the boom truck to and from job sites in compliance with traffic regulations and safety standards
• Position the truck, deploy outriggers/stabilizers, and operate the hydraulic boom crane to load, unload, and maneuver heavy materials
• Conduct routine daily checks on fluids, tires, brakes, hydraulic systems, and lifting gear to ensure safe operational condition
• Rig and secure loads using straps, chains, or binders to prevent movement or damage during transport
• Inspect setup areas for overhead hazards, ground stability, and obstructions prior to extending the boom

About the role

This role involves safely driving and operating a boom truck to and from job sites in compliance with traffic regulations and safety standards. You will position the truck properly, deploy outriggers/stabilizers, and operate the hydraulic boom crane to load, unload, and maneuver heavy materials or equipment. You will conduct routine daily checks on fluids, tires, brakes, hydraulic systems, and lifting gear to ensure safe operational condition, rig and secure loads properly using straps, chains, or binders to prevent movement or damage during transport, and inspect setup areas for overhead hazards, ground stability, and obstructions prior to extending the boom.

About you

• Strong understanding of load charts, weight distribution, rigging techniques, and hand signals
