Job summary

Radtelcom Technologies Corporation is seeking a Boom Truck Operator to transport, lift, load, and position heavy materials at construction or industrial sites. You will drive a truck with a hydraulic crane, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure loads are balanced and secured according to load charts.

The role requires a valid heavy vehicle license, NC II or equivalent certification, and 1–3 years of hands-on crane operation experience.

Qualifications

• Valid professional driver's license with heavy vehicle restriction codes.
• National Certification such as NC II in Heavy Equipment Operation/Boom Truck.
• 1–3 years of hands-on crane or knuckle-boom truck experience in construction or logistics.
• Knowledge of load charts, hand signals, site safety rules, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the boom truck to and from job sites while complying with traffic rules.
• Operate the hydraulic boom/crane controls to lift, move, and place loads precisely.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, outriggers, cables, slings, and safety devices.
• Ensure all cargo is properly balanced, rigged, and secured within safe weight capacities and load chart limits.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance, minor troubleshooting, and report mechanical issues or damage immediately.
• Follow signal person directions, lift plans, and safety protocols while communicating with the ground crew.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Safely drive the boom truck to and from job sites while complying with traffic rules

• Operate the hydraulic boom/crane controls to lift, move, and place loads precisely
