Job summary

3E Hitech Solutions Inc. seeks an experienced Field Operations professional to drive heavy trucks and operate boom cranes on construction sites. You will support safe lifts, perform inspections, and coordinate with riggers during hoisting operations.

Role requires valid CDL, NC II crane credentials, and a background in industrial settings. On-site role with strict safety guidelines and daily maintenance tasks included.

Qualifications

• Valid professional commercial driver’s license with appropriate restriction codes for heavy trucks.
• National Certification (NC II) or crane operating credentials where required.
• Proven work history driving and operating boom trucks or mobile cranes in construction or industrial settings.
• Familiarity with OSHA or local site safety guidelines, load charts, and power-line hazard awareness.

Responsibilities

• Drive boom truck to project sites, warehouses, and locations following traffic laws.
• Operate levers, pedals, and electronic controls to lift and place materials.
• Position outriggers and balance the truck before starting any lift.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip checks on vehicle, cables, shackles, and safety devices.
• Secure cargo using straps and chains within manual weight limits and capacities.
• Follow hand signals and coordinate with riggers and ground signalmen during hoisting operations.
• Perform routine servicing, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting for minor mechanical or hydraulic issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving and Transport: Safely drive the boom truck to and from project sites, warehouses, and designated locations following traffic laws.
• Crane Operation: Operate levers, pedals, and electronic controls to raise, lower, and rotate the boom crane to lift and place materials.
• Site Setup: Position outriggers and place supportive blocks on stable ground to balance and secure the truck before starting any lift.
• Equipment Inspection: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip checks on the vehicle, cables, shackles, and safety devices.
• Load Management: Secure cargo properly using straps and chains, ensuring weight limits and capacities stay within manual specifications.
• Team Communication: Follow hand signals and coordinate closely with riggers and ground signalmen during hoisting operations.
