INTERACTIVE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE is seeking an experienced Boom Truck Driver to join our operations team in Tarlac, Central Luzon. This full-time, on-site role focuses on operating and maneuvering boom trucks to transport and position heavy loads on construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of materials.

Responsibilities include pre-operation inspections, precise load positioning, and strict adherence to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) license or equivalent.
• Boom truck operation certification or formal training.
• 2–5 years proven boom truck experience on construction sites.
• Knowledge of load calculations and weight distribution.
• Understanding of safe lifting practices and regulations.
• Strong spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations for heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate boom trucks safely and efficiently on construction sites.

• Conduct pre-operation inspections of hydraulic systems, cables and hooks.
• Communicate with site supervisors using hand signals and radio.
• Maintain records of daily operations, fuel usage and incidents.

• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations; wear PPE.
• Transport loads to designated locations as directed by management.
• Respond to maintenance requests and assist with troubleshooting.

About the role

INTERACTIVE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE is seeking an experienced Boom Truck Driver to join our operations team in Tarlac, Central Luzon. This is a full-time position based on-site, where you will be responsible for operating and manoeuvring boom trucks to transport and position heavy loads on construction sites. As a Boom Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of materials and equipment, directly supporting the success of our construction projects and maintaining our commitment to operational excellence and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate boom trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with all relevant safety regulations and company procedures
• Position and place heavy loads at specified locations on construction sites using precise boom control and manoeuvring techniques
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of the boom truck, including hydraulic systems, cables, hooks, and safety features to ensure all equipment is in proper working condition
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, spotters, and other team members using hand signals and radio communications to coordinate load positioning
• Maintain accurate records of daily operations, fuel consumption, maintenance issues and any incidents or near-misses
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, cleaning filters and reporting mechanical issues to supervisors
• Load and secure cargo properly, ensuring weight distribution and stability before transport
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety and environmental regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
• Transport loads to various construction sites and locations as directed by management
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and assist in troubleshooting minor operational problems

What we're looking for

• Valid Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) or appropriate commercial driving licence for your jurisdiction
• Boom truck operation certification or equivalent formal training and demonstrated expertise in operating boom trucks
• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience operating boom trucks or similar heavy lifting equipment on construction sites
• Strong understanding of load calculations, weight distribution and safe lifting practices within industry standards
• Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination for precise boom control and positioning in confined spaces
• Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly those relating to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
