Job summary

INTERACTIVE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE is seeking an experienced Boom Truck Driver to join our operations team in Tarlac, Central Luzon. This full-time, on-site role focuses on operating and maneuvering boom trucks to transport and position heavy loads on construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of materials.

Responsibilities include pre-operation inspections, precise load positioning, and strict adherence to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) license or equivalent.
• Boom truck operation certification or formal training.
• 2–5 years proven boom truck experience on construction sites.
• Knowledge of load calculations and weight distribution.
• Understanding of safe lifting practices and regulations.
• Strong spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations for heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate boom trucks safely and efficiently on construction sites.
• Position and place heavy loads using precise boom control.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of hydraulic systems, cables and hooks.
• Communicate with site supervisors using hand signals and radio.
• Maintain records of daily operations, fuel usage and incidents.
• Perform routine maintenance and report issues to supervisors.
• Load and secure cargo with proper weight distribution.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations; wear PPE.
• Transport loads to designated locations as directed by management.
• Respond to maintenance requests and assist with troubleshooting.
