Job summary

The role seeks a Registered Mechanical Engineer with at least 1 year in plant maintenance to operate boiler systems and coordinate preventive maintenance. The successful candidate will work in a food manufacturing environment, handle hand and power tools, and adapt to shifting schedules including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Registered Mechanical Engineer license (ME).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in plant maintenance.
• Knowledgeable in boiler, electrical, motors, pumps and basic plumbing systems.
• Able to operate and maintain hand and power tools efficiently.
• Physically fit and willing to work in a food manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boiler systems.
• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems function properly.
• Assist in resolving equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records and spare parts inventory.
• Follow safety standards and company procedures.
