Job summary

Hoc Po Feeds Corporation is hiring a Boiler Shift Supervisor to lead the boiler operations team at our Guiguinto, Bulacan site. You will ensure a safe, continuous steam supply by overseeing boiler systems, fuel management, and water treatment while enforcing GMP and housekeeping standards.

The role requires engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical, experience in boiler operations, leadership skills, and familiarity with AutoCAD. Willingness to work shifts and overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) or Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) preferred.
• At least 1 year of boiler operations, utilities, or maintenance experience.
• Knowledgeable in boiler systems, utility equipment operation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and team management skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings; familiar with AutoCAD.
• Mechanical and electrical knowledge of industrial equipment and systems.
• Knowledge of workplace safety, GMP, and housekeeping standards.
• Willing to work shifting schedules and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Boiler Operators and Helpers for 100% steam availability with safety and quality.
• Oversee operation of boiler systems, fuel management, steam distribution, flow meters, and water treatment.
• Monitor boiler equipment and utilities for efficient, reliable plant operations.
• Direct preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Manage water systems, compressors, condensate recovery, and related auxiliaries.
• Ensure safety procedures, GMP, and housekeeping in the boiler area.
• Conduct inspections; identify abnormalities and advise corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to the boiler team.
• Maintain accurate daily operation reports and equipment condition logs.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Production, and other departments on equipment and requirements.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of fuels and materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
